“My goal for my patients is to help them keep doing what they love, for the rest of their lives.”

In the tranquil streets of North Melbourne there exists a place where people rediscover the joy of pain-free living.

For seventeen years, Lisa Smycz has been transforming the health of many lives at Errol Street Chiropractic Centre, and she’s one of only two Chiropractic BioPhysics (CBP) practitioners in Melbourne.

Lisa's passion for chiropractic was sparked by a personal experience.

“My father fell down a rabbit hole and twisted his pelvis badly, ending up with severe sciatica. He went to a chiropractor who restored the pelvis to its rightful position and relieved his pain. From then on I knew my calling lay in chiropractic care, and my father’s chiropractor became my mentor.”

Lisa has been a chiropractor for thirty-two years but it is more than a profession; it's a philosophy of life. It's about enabling the body to regain its natural balance, eliminating pain, and promoting holistic health.

“Getting your spine moving and improving the health of your spine, which is the house of your nerves, helps to improve your overall health. My job is ensuring that my patients not only live free from pain but thrive in every aspect of their lives.”

Lisa's commitment to her patients extends beyond chiropractic treatment. She educates them about the importance of maintaining good posture, incorporating healthy practices into their daily lives, and connecting their minds and bodies.

But Lisa's aspirations reach even further. She envisions a future where the profound impact of chiropractic care is accessible to more people.

Lisa's ambition is to share her expertise with the next generation of chiropractors and to make CBP more widely available in Australia, so more people can experience the profound healing she has witnessed throughout her career.

“I believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to live their best lives, pain-free and full of vitality. I get enormous satisfaction seeing my patients transformed.”
